Former Nigeria international footballer, Celestine Babayaro believes Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman would be ideal Chelsea acquisitions.

He stated this in an interview with AfricaFoot.

Osimhen and Lookman are set to transfer clubs at the end of the current season.  Osimhen, a forward, is in the last months of his loan with Galatasaray, the Turkish Super League champions.

The 26-year-old’s contract includes a €75 million release clause, and Napoli, his parent club, is eager to let him leave this summer.

Lookman has piqued interest following another standout season at Serie A club Atalanta.  The 27-year-old is allegedly available for roughly €60 million.

“Lookman and Osimhen would fit in perfectly at Chelsea,” he said.

“It’s obvious they would have an immediate impact there if signed. Look, we’re talking about two of the best strikers in Europe right now. African players have always excelled at Chelsea, and these two would be no different.”
