LeBron James has etched his name in the history books by becoming the first player in NBA history to reach 50,000 career points.

This incredible achievement solidifies his position as the league’s all-time leading scorer. James continues to defy age and showcase his remarkable skills, even as he approaches 40.

Cyber Reporters reports that the historic moment came during a game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

James entered the game with 49,999 points, and it did not take long for him to make history. With a precision pass from Luka Doncic, James sunk a 25-foot three-pointer, pushing his career total to 50,002 points.

The crowd erupted in cheers as James celebrated this extraordinary feat. His teammates and opponents alike showed their respect and admiration for his achievement.

Cyber Reporters recalls that earlier this year, James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s long-standing all-time regular-season scoring record of 38,387 points.

This record had stood for 39 years, and James’ achievement marked a new era in NBA history. With his latest milestone, James has further cemented his status as one of the greatest basketball players of all time.

James now boasts a staggering lead over Abdul-Jabbar’s total career points, with nearly 6,000 points separating them.

He is followed by Karl Malone, Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan in the all-time scoring list.

Among active players, Kevin Durant is the only one in the top 10, with a career total of just over 35,000 points.
