The Nigerian U20 boys’ delegation, the Flying Eagles, arrived in Abidjan on Tuesday morning ahead of two friendly games against the Young Elephants of Côte d’Ivoire.

Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi, a member of the NFF Executive Committee, headed the delegation to Ivory Coast.

Coach Aliyu Zubairu selected 21 players for the assignment, including team captain Daniel Bameyi, first-choice goalkeeper Ifeanyi Harcourt, defender Haruna Aliyu, midfielder Cletus Simon, and attackers Clinton Japhet and Olalekan Sulaiman Alabi.

The Ivorian capital’s Stade Félix Houphouët Boigny will welcome the seven-time African champions on Wednesday, starting at 4.30 p.m. The two teams will face off again on Friday at the same place and time.
