Uganda captain, Khalid Aucho has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to compete with Nigeria’s Super Eagles and other opponents at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.

Despite being considered underdogs, Aucho believes Uganda has the strength to take on any team in the group.
“Being at AFCON means you’re strong enough to compete with any team,” he said. “I know my boys, and they will deliver. We want to make our fans happy.”
Uganda will begin their campaign against Tunisia on December 23 and face Nigeria in their final group game on December 30.
