Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim was so enraged by their defeat to Brighton that he damaged a big screen television in the dressing room.
Last weekend, the Seagulls won successive games at Old Trafford. United’s 3-1 loss was their sixth defeat in 12 league home games.
It also was Amorim’s seventh defeat since taking over in November. After the game, Amorim became enraged as he lambasted his team’s poor performance. Later, in front of the media, he referred to them as “perhaps the worst team in United’s history.”
The 39-year-old, who often keeps quiet until the next day, reportedly let his frustration out on his teammates, according to The Athletic.
According to reports, the TV used for tactics during halftime and before kickoff needs to be fixed as soon as possible. Nonetheless, it is anticipated that the repairs will be completed in time for their Thursday Europa League matchup against Rangers at Old Trafford.
