Nigeria Women Football League side, Ekiti Queens has suspended its team manager, Moji Adekanye, indefinitely due to allegations of unethical conduct.

The suspension was announced by Olusola Osetoba, Technical Advisor to the State Governor on Sports Development.

According to the statement, the suspension takes immediate effect, and a disciplinary committee has been set up to investigate the matter.

The statement further disclosed that the committee will look into the allegations and determine the appropriate course of action.

Ekiti Queens emphasized its commitment to upholding integrity, professionalism, and sportsmanship.

The club stated that indiscipline from the technical crew would not be tolerated, and Adekanye’s suspension reflects this stance.

The suspension comes as Ekiti Queens begins its 2025 NWFL campaign on a positive note, having secured a 1-0 win over Heartland Queens in their opening match.

The club’s swift action in addressing the allegations demonstrates its dedication to maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity within the team.
