Al-Hilal manager, Jorge Jesus has confirmed that Neymar Jr will not be registered for the second half of the season.

Cyber Reporters gathered this decision comes as a result of Neymar’s ongoing fitness issues, which have plagued him since his arrival at the Saudi Arabian club.

Neymar joined Al-Hilal from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023. However, his time at the club has been marred by injuries.

Shortly after his arrival, Neymar suffered a torn ACL in his left knee while on international duty.

The injury kept Neymar sidelined for an extended period, and he only returned to action in October.

Neymar’s comeback was short-lived, as he soon picked up a hamstring injury and as a result, he has made only seven league and cup appearances for Al-Hilal, scoring just one goal.

Jesus acknowledged Neymar’s world-class talent but expressed concerns about his physical condition.

“He’s world class,” Jesus said. “But the truth is, physically, Neymar can no longer perform at the level we are used to.”

Despite not being registered for the second half of the season, Neymar may still participate in the Asian Champions League.

This could provide him with an opportunity to regain his fitness and form.

Neymar’s contract with Al-Hilal expires in the summer, and he has been linked with several teams, including a potential reunion with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Inter Miami.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for the talented but injury-prone forward.
