English Football Club, Chelsea has confirmed that academy goalkeeper Kai Crampton has moved permanently to Bournemouth.
The Blues confirmed this in a statement on their website. Crampton joined the Premier West London club’s development centre at the Under-8 level.
He then moved up the ranks at Cobham. Crampton played with Chelsea’s winning Under-18 Premier League South team in 2023/24.
This season, he made four Under-18 league and cup appearances, as well as two matchday loans to National League South side Hampton & Richmond.
“We wish Kai all the best as he embarks on the next chapter of his career,” Chelsea’s statement partly read.
In a similar development, Chelsea also confirmed that defender Aniek Nouwen has penned a new contract extension with the club’s women team that will keep her at the club until the summer of 2026.
The 25-year-old star originally signed for the Blues back in 2021.
