The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named Moroccan official Hamza El Fariq as centre referee for the second leg of Nigeria’s 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Ghana.

El Fariq will be assisted by fellow compatriots Abdessamad Abertoune (first assistant), Zakaria Bouchtaoui (second assistant), and Hicham Temsamani.

The commissioner will be Sierra Leone’s Prince Kai Saquee, with the Democratic Republic of Congo’s Miboti Moise serving as the referee assessor.

The game will take place on Saturday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

The first leg of the final qualifying match finished in a 0-0 tie.

The ultimate winners will advance to CHAN in 2024.
