Arsenal Coach Mikel Arteta, has found a possible substitute for injured star Bukayo Saka.
With his top player scheduled to remain sidelined for two months, Mikel Arteta is gradually getting used to life without Bukayo Saka.
Saka suffered a hamstring injury during the first half of Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League over the weekend.
Leandro Trossard took the place of the England international, who is now anticipated to be sidelined until February 2025.
Prior to this weekend’s encounter with Ipswich, Arteta supported Saka’s replacement with Gabriel Martinelli.
“Martinelli played there before and he played there against Everton in the last match of last season.
“He did really well. He’s a good option to have. We are on it”.
Martinelli has been largely deployed at left wing this season, but this could be an opportunity to uncover a different aspect to his game. The Gunners will be aiming for a victory this weekend to stay on Liverpool’s track at the top of the Premier League.
