Olawande, Obi React as Lookman, Nnadozie Win CAF Awards

The Minister of Youths Development, Ayodele Olawande has commended Ademola Lookman, Chiamaka Nnadozie, and the Super Falcons for their impressive wins at the CAF Awards.

Cyber Reporters reports that Lookman, the Atlanta Striker, took home the CAF Player of the Year award, while Paris FC Goalkeeper Nnadozie won the CAF Goalkeeper of the Year (Women) award.

The Super Falcons were crowned CAF National Team of the Year (Women).

Olawande praised the victories as outstanding achievements, stating that they demonstrate the hard work and exceptional talents of Nigerian youths.

He emphasized that these accomplishments serve as inspiration for young Nigerians worldwide and highlight the resilience and potential of the country’s youth.

The Minister assured his support for advancing youth talents, promising to create an environment conducive to their growth and success.

In the same vein, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar also congratulated Lookman on his award saying:

“Look no further than Ademola Lookman, African Footballer of the Year 2024. Congratulations!”.

On his part, Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, has congratulated Lookman and Nnadozie on their wins at the 2024 CAF Awards.

He also praised the Super Falcons for being named Africa’s best Senior National Women’s team.
