Activist lawyer Deji Adeyanju has launched a scathing attack on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike.

Adeyanju described Wike as a “land grabber” and questioned his authority to revoke land allocations and reallocate them to his associates.

Adeyanju took to X to express his outrage, stating that Wike’s actions would ultimately be futile.

He claimed that even previous FCT Ministers from the North were unable to successfully grab land, implying that Wike’s efforts would be similarly unsuccessful.

The activist’s comments come amidst allegations that Wike has been revoking land allocations within the FCT and reallocating them to his cronies.

The FCT Administration,FCTA, has been demolishing structures deemed illegal, citing security risks and government ownership of the land.

Adeyanju’s criticism of Wike is not isolated, as many have expressed concerns about the Minister’s handling of land allocations in the FCT.

The demolitions have sparked widespread backlash, with many accusing Wike of abusing his power.

In response to the criticism, Wike has vowed not to succumb to blackmail.

He stated that he would not be intimidated by those attempting to blackmail him and the current government in Abuja.

Wike’s defiance has only added fuel to the fire, with many questioning his motives and actions.

Adeyanju’s parting shot at Wike was particularly scathing, as he referred to the Minister as a “villager” wearing “fake designers” and looking like a “clown.”
