Abia Warriors forward Sunday Megwo has expressed optimism that his team will secure maximum points against Shooting Stars in Ibadan on Sunday.

The Umuahia-based club is riding high on confidence after a convincing 2-0 home win over Katsina United in midweek.

Megwo, who is Abia Warriors’ top scorer this season, believes that his team has what it takes to get a positive result at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.

“We are going into this match with the mindset of winning,” Megwo said in an interview with the club’s media.

Megwo acknowledged that the game against Shooting Stars will be tough, adding that he is confident in his team’s ability to get the three points.

Shooting Stars, on the other hand, are looking to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Remo Stars in their last fixture.

With their recent win over Katsina United, Abia Warriors are in high spirits and will be looking to carry that momentum into the game against Shooting Stars.
