The National Economic Council, NEC, has given states that have not submitted their State Police Status reports a one-week deadline to comply.

This directive was issued during the NEC meeting in Abuja, which was presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Cyber Reporters gathered that 33 states have already submitted their reports, but Adamawa, Kebbi, Kwara, and the Federal Capital Territory are still pending.

The NEC meeting also tackled critical sectors such as Power and Agriculture, demonstrating the council’s commitment to addressing various key issues affecting the nation’s development.
