Nigerian Super Falcons players, Rasheedat Ajibade and Chiamaka Nnadozie have been nominated for the prestigious 2024 CAF Women’s Player of the Year award.

Cyber Reporters reports that both Ajibade and Nnadozie were integral members of the Super Falcons squad that competed in the 2024 Olympic Games held in Paris.

Their talent and skills were on full display on the international stage. Ajibade’s club performance has also been noteworthy.

She played a crucial role in helping Atletico Madrid secure a commendable third-place finish in the Spanish Primera División, known as the Iberdrola, for the 2023-2024 season.

Meanwhile, Nnadozie has been a vital asset for Paris FC in France as her exceptional goalkeeping skills were instrumental in the team’s qualifying for the UEFA Women’s Champions League.

Nnadozie’s outstanding contributions to her team’s successes have previously been recognized.

She was awarded the Best Goalkeeper at the 2023 CAF Awards.

The 2024 CAF Awards nominations highlight the impressive talent and achievements of Nigerian football players.

Ajibade and Nnadozie will await the announcement of the winners, proudly representing Nigeria on the continental stage.
