Rwanda’s head coach, Torsten Spittler, has declared his team’s determination to defeat the Super Eagles of Nigeria in their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

With Rwanda currently occupying third place in Group D with five points, the stakes are high and to keep their AFCON 2025 dreams alive, Spittler’s team must beat the already-qualified Super Eagles.

“We must beat Nigeria to advance,” Spittler emphasized in a press conference in Uyo. “Our mission is clear, and we’ll fight until the very end to achieve it.”

Rwanda trails Benin Republic by two points, making this match a must-win.

Spittler promised an intense match against Nigeria, saying, “We’ll give it our all to secure the vital three points.” Rwanda’s determination to succeed will be put to the test against the formidable Super Eagles.

The stage is set for an exciting encounter in Uyo. Will Rwanda’s underdog spirit be enough to take down the Super Eagles, or will Nigeria’s unbeaten streak in the qualifying series continue?

The outcome will be crucial in shaping Rwanda’s AFCON 2025 fate.
