Social media critic, Martins Ortse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has made some serious allegations against Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
VeryDarkMan claims Wike is behind the demolition of certain areas in the FCT, particularly the Ruga community along Airport Road, and is allocating the plots to his wealthy friends.
Cyber Reporters reports that this demolition has left thousands of residents homeless, which is not only a humanitarian issue but also a security risk for the capital city.
VeryDarkMan took to Instagram to express his concerns, urging Wike to reconsider and reallocate lands to those who have been left homeless.
According to VeryDarkMan, this would not only provide relief to those affected but also help curb insecurity in the area.
Cyber Reporters gathered that the demolition was carried out by the FCT taskforce, Operation Sweep, and has sparked controversy and concern among residents and critics alike.
VeryDarkMan’s accusations highlight the need for transparency and accountability in governance, especially when it comes to issues affecting the most vulnerable members of society.
He wrote:
“After what I saw during the early hours of today when I visited while they were sleeping(precisely 12:15AM)I had to go over 1000 mosquito nets to keep the mosquitoes away and save them from getting sick of Malaria and also to help them sleep well at night.
“Dear Nyesom Wike, I heard you allegedly chased these thousands of people because you wanted to give your rich friends the land.
“While you are at it, sit down and think about the insecurity this insensitive act from you will cause us, need I remind you that these people left their towns and villages to the FCT because of the insecurity of their villages and who to blame for that “the government.
“Now you are trying to push them to a state of desperation of survival, please Nyesom Wike allocate an alternative place for them and save Nigerians from future insecurities.”
