Victor Osimhen paid a touching tribute to his injured teammate Mauro Icardi on Sunday.

After scoring Galatasaray’s opening goal against Samsunspor in the Turkish Super Lig, Osimhen held up Icardi’s jersey and replicated his signature celebration.

The heartfelt gesture was a show of support for the Argentine forward, who will miss the remainder of the season due to injury.

Osimhen’s actions demonstrated the strong bond between teammates and highlighted his compassionate nature.

Watching from the stands, Icardi was visibly moved by Osimhen’s tribute.

He smiled and applauded, clearly appreciative of the Nigerian striker’s kind act.

Galatasaray went on to secure a thrilling 3-2 victory at RAMS Park, with Osimhen scoring twice and substitute Michy Batshuayi adding the third.

Osimhen’s performance was impressive, but it was his tribute to Icardi that stole the spotlight.

The gesture demonstrated that, despite the competitive nature of football, teammates can show empathy and support for one another.

The win marked a significant boost for Galatasaray, and Osimhen’s tribute to Icardi will be remembered as a highlight of the match.

As the season progresses, Galatasaray will look to continue their momentum, with Osimhen leading the charge and Icardi cheering them on from the sidelines.
