Saudi Pro League giants, Al-Hilal are reportedly on the verge of terminating Brazilian superstar Neymar’s contract due to his recurring injury issues.

Cyber Reporters gathered that since joining the club for €90 million from Paris Saint-Germain just 18 months ago, Neymar’s time at Al-Hilal has been marred by frequent injuries, with the latest ACL setback being particularly detrimental.

The club’s growing frustration regarding Neymar’s fitness has led them to consider potential replacements.

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Al-Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo have emerged as top contenders.

Ronaldo boasts an impressive scoring record in the Saudi league since joining Al-Nassr in 2022, making him a highly attractive prospect.

Salah, an Egyptian forward and footballing icon in the Arab world, represents a strategic opportunity for Al-Hilal.

His contract with Liverpool is set to expire in the summer of 2024, potentially allowing him to join Al-Hilal on a free transfer.

Reports suggest Neymar might return to his roots at Santos or make a move to Major League Soccer with Inter Miami.

This speculation has further motivated Al-Hilal to act swiftly as the club’s management is contemplating terminating Neymar’s contract as soon as the January transfer window opens.

Al-Hilal’s urgency to resolve the ongoing challenges posed by Neymar’s recurring injury issues has led to increased speculation about his future.

Saudi broadcaster Action Ma3 has echoed reports of Al-Hilal’s interest in Cristiano Ronaldo, while TalkSport suggests Mohamed Salah is also on the club’s radar.

As the situation unfolds, it remains to be seen whether Neymar will find a new home or Al-Hilal will secure a high-profile replacement.
