Real Madrid is considering replacing manager Carlo Ancelotti with two club legends, Raul Gonzalez and Santiago Solari, due to the team’s recent struggles.

Cyber Reporters reports that Ancelotti’s side suffered a devastating 4-0 loss to Barcelona and a 3-1 defeat to AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League, sparking concerns about his ability to lead the team.

Despite having 24 points from 11 LaLiga games, Real Madrid trails league leaders Barcelona by nine points, although they have a game in hand.

The team’s performance in the Champions League has also been underwhelming, with only six points from four games, leaving them ranked 18th in the league phase standings.

Raul Gonzalez, who has been working with the Castilla team, and Santiago Solari, currently the director of football, are seen as potential replacements for Ancelotti.

Other names mentioned as possible successors include Xabi Alonso, currently managing Bayer Leverkusen, and Zinedine Zidane, who has been out of work since leaving Real Madrid in 2021.

Ancelotti’s contract with Real Madrid runs until 2026, but the team’s recent performance has put his position under scrutiny.

With the pressure mounting, it remains to be seen whether Ancelotti can turn things around or if Real Madrid will opt for a change in management.
