Ademola Lookman, Atalanta’s Nigerian forward has expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance following their 2-0 victory over Stuttgart in the UEFA Champions League.

Lookman, who scored alongside teammate Nicolo Zaniolo, highlighted the team’s strong first-half performance.

“We had a positive first half where we created several dangerous chances,” he said in a post-match interview.

Atalanta’s confidence and clinical finishing proved decisive, as they capitalized on their chances effectively.

“We knew the chances would come, and we took them decisively,” Lookman added. The team’s ability to maintain their rhythm and take advantage of opportunities was key to their success.

Lookman has been instrumental for Atalanta this season, contributing eight goals and five assists in 13 appearances across all competitions.

The victory over Stuttgart marks another positive step for Atalanta, and Lookman is eager to see the team continue their upward trajectory.

“We’re pleased to walk away with three points, and we will continue to push forward in our upcoming matches,” he said.

With Lookman leading the charge, Atalanta’s chances of advancing in the competition look promising.
