Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has finally broken his silence, congratulating Rodri on his 2024 Ballon d’Or win.
Cyber Reporters reports that Rodri, who plays for Manchester City, edged out Real Madrid’s talented winger Vinicius Junior for the prestigious award.
Ancelotti’s congratulations come after Real Madrid’s notable absence from the Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris.
The team, including Vinicius, had boycotted the event due to their disappointment over the outcome.

Speaking to the media ahead of Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League clash with AC Milan, Ancelotti chose to focus on the bigger picture.
“Congratulations to the Ballon d’Or winner,” he said, acknowledging Rodri’s achievement.
However, Ancelotti quickly shifted attention to Real Madrid’s own triumphs.
“But that’s in the past,” he continued. “We secured our own Ballon d’Or on June 1st – the Champions League title we won in London.”
This statement underscored the team’s priorities, emphasizing collective success over individual accolades.
By framing their Champions League victory as their own “Ballon d’Or,” Ancelotti reaffirmed Real Madrid’s commitment to teamwork and shared goals.
As they prepare to face AC Milan, the team’s focus remains on securing more silverware, rather than dwelling on individual awards.
