Former Manchester United manager, Erik Ten Hag has penned a heartfelt letter to the club’s supporters, thanking them for their unwavering support during his tenure.
Ten Hag’s emotional farewell comes after his surprise sacking following United’s 2-1 loss to West Ham in the Premier League.
In the letter, he reflected on his cherished memories at Old Trafford.
“I’ll never forget the electrifying atmosphere you created,” ten Hag wrote. “Your chants echoing through opposing stadiums, inspiring the team and me, whether in England, Europe, or on summer tours.”
Ten Hag also celebrated the club’s two trophy wins under his leadership, expressing pride in those achievements.
“Though my dream of securing more trophies remained unfulfilled, I’ll treasure those moments forever.”
The Dutchman concluded by wishing the fans success, trophies, and glory, ensuring his departure wouldn’t dampen the team’s spirit.
Ten Hag’s replacement, Ruben Amorim from Sporting Lisbon, has already been announced by the club.
