President Bola Tinubu has made significant changes to his cabinet, dismissing six ministers and nominating seven new ones to fill the vacant positions.

Those relieved of their duties include: Tahir Mamman, Minister of Education; Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs; Mohammed Gwarzo, State Minister for Housing; Jamila Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development; Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism; and Betta Edu, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, who was previously suspended.

President Tinubu has forwarded the names of seven new ministerial nominees to the National Assembly for confirmation, including Bianca Ojukwu, wife of the late Dim Odeimegwu Ojukwu.

Furthermore, ten ministers have been reassigned to new portfolios, as announced by Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, after the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

This cabinet reshuffle aims to bring fresh perspectives and vitality to the administration, marking a significant development in President Tinubu’s efforts to reinvigorate his government.
