Morocco Selected to Host CAF Women’s Champions League Finals

The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has announced Morocco as the host country for the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League finals, scheduled to take place from November 9 to November 23.

This marks the second consecutive time Morocco will host the competition, having successfully organized the previous edition.

Cyber Reporters reports that the competition, according to information on CAF’s official website will run from November 9 to November 23.

Nigerian champions, Edo Queens are among the eight teams that will compete in the premium women’s club football competition in Africa.

Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa are the current holders of the title.

The winners of the tournament will receive a prize money of $400,000, while the runners-up will take home $250,000.

CAF’s premier women’s club football competition promises to showcase the best of African talent, with Edo Queens seeking to make a mark on the continental stage.

Morocco’s hosting of the tournament is expected to bring together the best women’s football teams from across Africa, providing a thrilling experience for fans and players alike.
