Real Madrid midfielder, Arda Guler, has downplayed rumors of a rift with manager Carlo Ancelotti over his playing time this season.
Despite not being a regular starter, the 19-year-old Turkish player has addressed concerns surrounding his position in Ancelotti’s side.
Guler who has primarily been used as a substitute under Ancelotti’s guidance this season, remains optimistic about his role in the team.
Speaking at a recent press conference, Guler shed light on his relationship with Ancelotti and his playing time.
The young midfielder emphasized that there are no issues between him and Ancelotti. He also highlighted the increase in his playing minutes this season.
Guler expressed his desire to participate in every game for Real Madrid, acknowledging that this ambition is normal for any player.
Reaffirming his commitment to the team, Guler concluded, “Everything is fine. No problems.”
He said: “There is no problems between me and Carlo Ancelotti, at all. I’m getting more minutes this year.”
“Of course, I want to play every game… but that’s normal. Everything is fine. No problems.”
Guler’s clarification provides reassurance about his position within Ancelotti’s squad, dispelling concerns among Real Madrid supporters.
