Libya coach, Nasser Al-Hadiri has praised Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman, describing him as a world-class player.

Al-Hadiri acknowledged Lookman’s potential impact in the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Nigeria.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Al-Hadiri emphasized the strength of the Nigerian national team.

Al-Hadiri highlighted Lookman’s quality alongside other talented Nigerian player.

The Libya coach downplayed the significance of Victor Osimhen’s absence, stressing that Nigeria’s collective strength outweighs individual contributions.

He said: “The Nigerian national team is not depending on one player, the whole team of Nigeria is strong not just an individual, it’s the best team in Africa.

“They have a lot of players like Atalanta’s Lookman and others. The whole players are world-class so the absence of Victor Osimhen alone does not make any difference.

“I know that Victor Osimhen is the best player in Africa but he does not make any difference for them.”

Al-Hadiri’s comments suggest Libya is prepared for a formidable challenge against Nigeria’s talented squad, led by players like Lookman, when they meet at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Friday evening.
