The Head of Public Relations and Media, Chidi Louis responded to allegations circulating online regarding a church member’s testimony.
A viral video purportedly showed a member claiming to have disarmed four-armed robbers and possessing an “AK-27.”
However, Pastor Louis clarified that the video was fabricated and did not accurately represent the member’s testimony.
He clarified that the woman’s testimony occurred in a dream and not a reality, stressing that Nigerians should disregard the fake video.
The pastor while cautioning against believing everything online urged Nigerians to visit the church platform to see the complete testimony.
The full clip of the lady’s testimony was released on the church’s TikTok handle, confirming that her story was a dream.
The church reassures that it does not fabricate testimonies and encourages the public to verify information through its official platforms.
He said: “Don’t believe everything you see on the internet. Bloggers often edit content to ridicule the work of God. Most of these bloggers are wicked and devilish.”
“Nigerians should disregard the fake video and visit our church platform to listen to the complete testimony for better understanding. The woman’s story occurred in a dream, not in reality.”
