In a shocking betrayal of trust, a 30-year-old motorcyclist, Michael Olorunfemi, has been arrested for allegedly raping his wife’s 17-year-old sister in a secluded bush in Akure, Ondo State.

According to police sources, Olorunfemi’s twisted confession revealed a chilling tale of deception and violence.

The father of four allegedly lured the young girl into the bush, promising to take her to her boyfriend’s house, only to unleash his depraved desires upon her.

The victim’s courageous reporting of the crime to her mother led to Olorunfemi’s swift arrest and subsequent charging in court.

Police spokesperson, Funmi Odunlami confirmed that the suspect has been remanded at Olokuta prison, pending further investigation and prosecution.

As the case unfolds, the trial Chief Magistrate, Kolawole Aro, has adjourned proceedings until October 31, 2024, pending advice from the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.

The community remains outraged, demanding justice for the young victim and her family.

The suspect confessed that: “The victim approached me to take her to her boyfriend’s house, and on our way, I stopped near a bush and raped her.

“I promised to give her money, which I did not. She then reported me to her mother, which led to my arrest.”
