Rwanda’s Amavubi team has commenced training in Kigali ahead of their crucial African Cup of Nations Qualifiers, AFCONQ, against Libya and Nigeria.
Rwanda’s Coach, Torsten Spittler has selected a 36-man squad for the doubleheader matches, starting with an away game against Libya on September 7.

It will be followed by a home encounter against Nigeria on September 10.
The team resumed training yesterday at the Amahoro Stadium under the guidance of the German coach.

Additionally, Rwanda is set to face Nigeria again in a 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier in March next year, making the upcoming matches a significant test for the Amavubi squad.
