President Bola Tinubu has stated his administration’s efforts to take sufficient actions to secure the nation from terrorism.

He commented in response to the recent assassination of Alhaji Isa Bawa, the District Head of Gatawa District in Sokoto State’s Sabon Birni Local Government Area.

This information was provided in a news statement released by his Media Adviser, Ajuri Ngelale.

He told Nigerians that his administration is vigorously eradicating threats to national security and that desperate acts of terror will be successfully fought.

President Tinubu, who strongly condemned the terrible circumstances that led to Alhaji Bawa’s death, termed the attack on the traditional ruler as extremely troubling and barbaric, requiring a determined response.

President Tinubu extended his profound condolences to the bereaved family, the Gobir Emirate, and the government of Sokoto State.

The President prayed for the repose of the soul of the traditional ruler and comfort to his family at this difficult time.
