Controversial Nigerian street-pop star, Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, also known as Portable, has been allegedly attacked by ‘area boys’ during an event in Lagos.
Portable in a social media post revealed the attack took place at a friend’s event in Iju-Ishaga, Lagos State.
The street-pop singer said he and his team were assaulted by a group of individuals identified as “Egbon Adugbo”
Portable claimed that his presence and behavior at the event drew unnecessary attention, leading to a fierce confrontation.
According to Portable, the attackers inflicted severe injuries on him, adding that they also made away with several pieces of his expensive jewelry.
The entertainer said the robbers also stole two iPhones belonging to one of his managers, an ATM card, one of his cars, and various other personal items.
This attack comes after Portable’s recent social media celebration of the birth of his first child, Babyluv.
