Very Dark Man pleads with Nigerians to end Nationwide Protest

Popular Nigerian social media critic, Vincent Martins Otse aka Very Dark Man, VDM, has called on Nigerians to shutdown the nationwide protest against hunger and bad governance.

Very Dark Man in a video he shared gave reasons for backing out of the protest and encouraged others to do same.

According to Very Dark Man, protesters in some Nothern states in Nigeria are now flying the Russian flag, calling for the Russian government to come to Nigeria’s aide.

VDM adds that the same protesters are requesting for a military coupe de tat, a complete takeover of the democratic government by the military.

The social media influencer noted that the main aim of the protest, which was hunger has been defeated as some people are deviating from the course by calling for a new government, instead of making demands.

He alleged that someone was behind the call for the Russian government to intercede into Nigerian affairs.

He also explained that the protest is getting violent, stressing that the government should impose curfews on the affected states so as not to escalate the issue

Very Dark Man was one of the prominent names in Nigeria to pioneer the Nationwide protest, and he laid a lot of emphasis on the protest being organized prior to this declaration.

During his participation in the protest, Very Dark Man had tear gas thrown at him by the police, but he later defended them, stating that their hands were tied because of orders from above.

The protest in question is supposed to run for ten days, and this is only the seventh day.

Celebrities have spoken up, the President himself has spoken, but there seems to be no end in sight yet, as Nigerians are still trooping out to participate.
