The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shauibu has stormed the National Secretariat of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), requesting to be given his certification of return.
According to him, “today is the day set aside for the collection of certificate of return for the winner of the primary. I understand someone came yesterday and was given, well, the court will decide…”
However, The PDP had awarded the certificate of return to his major opponent, Asue Ighodalo, who is believed to be the anointed candidate of the Governor, Godwin Obaseki.
