The Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has also joined the Nationwide protest of the Nigerian Labour Congress.

The Nationwide protest which is taking place in almost all the states in the federation is being done as an outcry to the untold hardship currently faced by Nigerians.

States like Kano, Akwa Ibom and Oyo State have had a massive turn out.

Also, similarly, NLC members in Abuja have also actively been participating in the protest March.

The Governor while addressing the protesters, agreed on the current harsh economic realities in Nigeria, he also promised to stand as part of the people to change the narrative.

Makinde also took out the opportunity to reply Mr Ajearo, President of the NLC who earlier said no state was paying the N35k wage award by the federal government, adding that his state was doing so.
