Nollywood Actress, Laide Bakare has spoken out following her recent appointment with the Osun State government.
Recall that on Thursday night Laide Bakare was appointed as the Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor On Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism.
Photos and video circulated showing the movie actor signing the appointment letter beside Governor Adeleke.
Laide has now taken to Instagram to announce that the position has marked a new beginning for her political career.
She called herself honourable and thanked her boss, Governor Adeleke, for trusting her and allowing her to serve. She made a promise to deliver her best while praying to her creator to strengthen me.
“NOW AN HONORABLE. Ya Allah I am grateful. To my New Boss GOVERNOR ADEMOLA JACKSON ADELEKE Imole Osun. Thank you so much for the trust and opportunity to serve.
I promise to deliver my Best. So help me God SENIOR SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE GOVERNOR OF OSUN STATES ON ENTERTAINMENT, ART, CULTURE, AND TOURISM. Lot of work to be done. Shall we?
