Nigerian record producer and singer, John Saviours Udomboso, aka Young Jonn, has undergone a successful hair transplant surgery.
This decision follows months of online ridicule sparked by a fan’s mockery over his appearance.
The incident originated when a social media user with the handle @TheMahleek posted a video poking fun at Young Jonn’s receding hairline. The clip circulated widely across various platforms, drew attention to the singer’s physical features, and led to a wave of online trolling.
The singer shared a video and photos from the surgical room in Spain via his X handle on Wednesday.
He tweeted, “Happy new hair @insparya_es.”
It was gathered that he did the surgery in a bid to reclaim his receding hairline.
Recall that popular comedian, Igosave also underwent a hair transplant surgery a few years ago to save his head from going bald.
He had said then that the surgery cost him $20,000.
