Pockets of protests have continued transverse the Nation as residents of Ibadan in Oyo State have taken to the streets to protest against hardship and cost of living.

This is seeping from the some of the harsh economic policies enacted by the Tinubu led administration, like the removal of fuel subsidy and the others.

Some of the placards have inscriptions such as ‘No more Emilokan’, ‘End food hike and inflation’, ‘The poor is starving’, ‘Tinubu, don’t forget your promises’, amongst others.

While there have been reports of security agents deployed to curtail the protests, residents are still seen with their placards up.

This is coming after some other protests have happened in Kano, Minna, amongst others, over economic hardship occasioned by petrol subsidy removal, food inflation, and high cost of living.
