Sacked Senator, Elisha Abbo, has been challenged to provide evidence of bribe receipt by the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Monica Dongban- Mensem, owing to his recent press conference alleging that Justice Monica is corrupt.

Sen. Abbo has been urged to tender a public apology and retract his statement or face legal action.

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Uwemedimo Nwoko, has asked the Senator to either provide evidence to back up his claims or face the charges of libel.

Abbo had in a press statement accused the president of the Appeal Court and some other judges of receiving bribe to facilitate his sack from the senate.
