Chelsea Visit Red Devils, City Face Aston Villa Test, Live On GOtv

Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea will face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Thursday, aiming to secure their first victory over the Red Devils since November 2017, when a solitary goal by Alvaro Morata, secured a 1-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have since gone 11 Premier League games without a win against Manchester United, drawing seven games in the process.

The corresponding fixture last season ended in a 4-1 defeat for the Blues. Tune in to SuperSport Premier League (GOtv ch 66) to watch the action live at 9:15 pm on Wednesday.

 

Chelsea have won seven points from their last five matches, while the Red Devils garnered nine points from five matches. Chelsea and Manchester United are 10th and 7th respectively in the Premier League Table.

Also on Wednesday, defending champions, Manchester City will visit Villa Park, to play high-flying Aston Villa, who currently sit 4th in the table. Having drawn their last three Premier League games, the Citizens are in third place, three points behind the leaders, Arsenal. Pep Guardiola’s City have won four of their last Premier League matches against Aston Villa. This encounter will be live on SuperSport Select 2 (GOtv ch 64), at 9:15 pm.

 

In the other matches, Brighton & Hove Albion will host Brentford, live on SuperSport Laliga (GOtv ch 62), at 8:30 pm, while Sheffield United will square up against Liverpool on SuperSport Football (GOtv ch 61), at 8:30 pm.

On Thursday, Everton and Newcastle United will face off at Goodison, live on SuperSport Premier League (GOtv cha 66), at 8:30pm, while Tottenham Hotspur will battle West Ham United in a London derby on SuperSport Select 2 (GOtv ch 64), at 9:15 pm.
