President Bola Tinubu has just weighed in the seeming political rivalry between Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, and his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
A source close to the President has revealed that Tinubu has invited all members of the state house of assembly to Aso Rock for a meeting, today, 24, November 2023.
This is coming after some stakeholders and leaders of the state had called on the president to intervene in the political crisis between the duo.

There are indications that some State assembly members summing to 11 are loyal to the deputy governor.
Word on the streets say the eleven lawmakers are hatching a plan to unseat the current Governor and install the deputy Governor on grounds of Akeredolu being incapacitated.
Oladiji Olamide, Speaker of the State House of Assembly has confirmed the meeting with the president today to chart the way forward.
Oladiji revealed that the house planes plenary was to officially declare Akeredolu’s deputy as acting Governor.
His words:
“Our sitting was to declare Aiyedatiwa as Acting Governor. The Governor is still alive,” he said.
