Wunmi, the late Nigerian artist Mohbad’s widow, is currently embroiled in a dispute over her in-laws’ and internet users’ demand for their son Liam’s DNA test.
Omawunmi’s response to these demands has been resolute. Considering her current financial status and her duty to raise her son alone, she demands that people who support a DNA test be willing to pay for it.
She said she couldn’t handle the associated financial strain. Wunmi is adamant that she shouldn’t have to pay for a test that was forced upon her in the absence of any convincing evidence or good cause.
This demand stems from ongoing claims and conjecture about her role in Mohbad’s death as well as questions about Liam’s paternity.
The tale has taken a more personal turn ever since Iyabo Ojo made her recent live video confession.
She emphasised that although Omawunmi was eager to take a DNA test, she was unable to pay for it.
Nigerian singer and former signee of Marlian Records, Mohbad, apparently passed away on September 12 at the age of 27.
