Appeal Court affirms Sherrif’s victory In Delta State Guber polls

The Court of Appeal has thrown out the appeal by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege’s Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the Governor of Delta State.

The court disclosed it dismissed Omo-Agege’s appeal for lack of merit.

Appellate Court follows the verdict of the state Governoship election tribunal which affirmed the victory of Sherrif.

Omo-Agege prayed to the appeal court to declare him the winner of the elections, haven said to claimed to have scored the highest votes in the polls.

He also Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of declaring his opponent winner of the polls despite allegations of over voting.

But Governor Oborevwori who opposed his appeal, and affirming to have won the elections still remains duly elected
