The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has just nullified the election of Plateau State Governor, Caleb Muftwang.
The three man panel of judges unanimously held that the governor was not validly sponsored by the People’s Democratic Party.
Which according to the judges, us against Section 285(2) of the Nigerian Constitution.
The is coming after over seven of the members of the National Assembly in the state elected under the PDP were sacked over the same issue.
