Award winning singer, Damini Ogulu, aka Burna Boy has stirred up controversy on the internet once more after posting about suing Nigerian bloggers.
Remember how the singer had asked how much they needed to completely forget about his name on various social media blogs, particularly Instablog.
His outburst occurred hours after rumours circulated in the media that he had flown into Nigeria with a Kenyan socialite on a romantic connection, and that he had recently broken up with Brymo, a coworker.
In a more recent post on his X platform, Burna Boy reversed himself and said he is thinking about hiring a hundred lawyers to file a defamation lawsuit.
With the money he had originally pledged to offer Nigerian bloggers to stop talking about him, he claimed he would have funded a string of legal challenges against them; nevertheless, he is being compassionate, seeing that they are struggling to make ends meet.
But he questioned why Nigerian bloggers were so determined to destroy him. On Wednesday, on his X handle,
Burna Boy wrote in Pidgin: “Dat money wey I wan give dem instablog dat time, e be like say na to give like 100 lawyers now, But I know say na hustle everybody dey hustle so e go pain me if I run dat kind tin. Why una dey push me na?”
