The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has adjourned collation of results in Bayelsa State for another one hour.

This is coming after a heated argument erupted between the party agents of both the People’s Democratic Party and the All Progressives Congress.

The argument came after the announcement of the results from Brass Local Government where All Progressives Congress (APC) won with 18,431 votes, against the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with 12,602 votes.

INEC has called for a one hour break to dowse the tension in the atmosphere. The result from Southern Ijaw which is the last LGA is expected to be read shortly.
