The Kogi State Labour Party Governorship campaign council  has refuted claims of endorsing Guber candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Sen. Dino Melaye.

It will be recalled that Dino revealed Ab alliance and endorsement by the LP last night via his official X handle.

A Chieftain of the party, Col Vincent Abuh (rtd) had led some LP members to Senator Melaye, endorsing him ahead of the election.

However, the Director General of the LP governorship campaign, Nelson Agohi has refuted such endorsement, adding that Abuh’s action did not represent the party’s position.

Mr Nelson in a statement made available to pressmen berated Agohi’s action as termed it as “an effort at sabotage.”

He also emphasized that the move by his party chieftain to merge with the PDP was a deliberate attempt to undermine the credibility of the Labour Party.
