Nigerian rapper, Eva Alordiah has revealed why she decided to take a sabbatical from music. She seems to have quit the music industry after a brilliant career a few years ago.
Eva, on the other hand, revealed that, unbeknownst to her supporters, who assumed she was wealthy and lived lavishly, she was in fact struggling financially.
The popular rapper at the time disclosed on social media that she had to take an extended break because she was “burnt, broke, and depressed.”
Eva Alordiah praised herself for maturing, saying she took three years off to invest in herself and has been the better for it. In her own words:
She said: “A few years ago I walked away from a seemingly “successful” music career.
I was burnt out.
“Depression had taken an almost permanent seat beside me.
My bank balance was just enough to buy my next meal.
