24 hours after the Supreme Court verdict, former President of Nigeria, has paid a courtesy visit to Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Supreme Court had yesterday, affirmed the victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the duly elected president, thrashing all appeals of both Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar.

This visit is highly speculated to be a congratulatory visit by the former president.

However, while having a chat with pressmen after a closed door meeting with the President, Jonathan said his visit was to inform Tinubu of some of his international engagement in recent times.
