The popular Ekiti chef, Damilola Adeparusi, famously known as Chef Dammy, has been drawn into a legal battle by her pastor as she is being slammed with a N20 million Lawsuit by her pastor, Adegoke Jeremiah.
Chef Dammy recently informed the world that she feared her life was in danger, and she stated unequivocally that her pastor should be held liable if she was harmed.
In a surprising change of events, Prophet Jeremiah Adegoke, the founder of Spirit World Global Mission, has filed a lawsuit against Chef Dammy.
The pastor expressed his surprise at what he perceived to be a defamatory statement made by the chef in a petition written by his legal team.
He has demanded that the slanderous remark be retracted, as well as a payment of twenty million naira (20,000,000) in damages, with a seven-day deadline.
Prior to this, a member of Pastor Adegoke Jeremiah’s church entered the fray, calling Chef Dammy out for her charges against their clergyman.
This unnamed church member didn’t hold back in a new video, calling Dammy out for spreading lies.
He put down the challenge, daring the Ekiti chef to produce tangible evidence to back up her accusations of life-threatening conditions. The young man went so far as to call Dammy a “clout chaser,” implying that she is only attempting to capitalise on the popularity of Pastor Jeremiah’s church name.
